Baby Pictionary Shower Game

Baby Pictionary is the baby shower version of the popular party game. Its fun to play especially for larger showers where you can break up players into little groups and design the game to be as long or as short as you like.

Preparation

To prepare for the game you will need to make a list of 10 to 20 baby related words and actions and add one word or phrase to an index card. You will also need pen and paper for players.

How to play Baby Shower Pictionary

On the day of the shower break up players into 2 teams. Separate each team at different tables and give them enough paper and pencil. Next have a member of each team come to the front and show them both the index card with the word or phrase. They then go back to their respective teams and draw the items on the card.

They are not allowed to write letters, numbers or give their team any clue other than the drawing. The first team to guess the correct word or phrase wins that round and ask another team member to come up and do the same thing. The team that guesses the most correct wins the game.

Variation of Baby Pictionary

Another fun and interesting way to play this game is to design the words or phrase specific to the mom and dad-to-be. For instance what they do for a living, where they are from, their hobbies and so on.

You could also make it easier for yourself by asking each guest to write down a baby related word or phrase at the beginning of the shower and collect them all in a bowl for the game later on. This way you will not have to make up the words yourself.
