You will need: Bingo card, pencil or marker

Put a twist on the regular gift bingo by playing family gift bingo instead. Give each guest a bingo card and ask them to fill in the names of family members and friends. When the expecting parents are opening gifts, whoever that gift is from, his/her name is marked off on the bingo card. When a player gets fivenames in a row, diagonally, vertically or horizontally then that person says bingo and wins a prize. Keep playing until all the gifts are opened as their may be more that winner.

You will need: Paper, pen, 2 bowls

Baby shower games for family such as this, is a fun game for everyone to work as a team. You can use this game alone at your shower and then move straight into opening gifts if you like.

Break up players into two teams and decide on a time limit, use 2 to 3 minutes so it does not stretch out too much. Each team should write baby related actions on a sheet of papersuch as reading to baby, feeding the baby, changing the baby and so on...

Tell everyone to fold their paper to hide the writing, each team then places their paper in a separate bowl. The game starts off when one team member picks a paper from the other teams bowlread the contents then without speaking give signals to their team for them to try and guess what he has.

Stop when someone guesses it right or time runs out. Sit and the other team getsa turn. continue playing until all the clues are completed then add up the number of correct guesses for each team and the team with the most correct guesses wins.

You will need: some baby related items, paper and pencil

Before the start of the shower you will need to go to the store and purchase 9 to 12 small baby items. Use the receipt as a reference for the cost of each item. Break up players into teams.
Separate the items in groups of 3 on a tray. Show it to guests and ask them what they think is the total cost of the items on the tray. Give them a sheet of paper to record their guess then ask each team to show you what they have. The team that guesses correctly or comes the closest wins.

This simple game is played by giving each guest a paper plate and a marker, ask them to put the plate on their heads to draw a sketch of mommy while the plate is still on their head.The winner is chosen when mom to be picks her favorite.

You will need: Polaroid cameras

This is more a baby shower activity than a game. If mom to be is making a baby scrap book, then the hostess can buy a few cheap polaroid cameras and leave them on tables or chairs. Tellfamily members and friends to take pictures of themselves in a group or by themselves. This way mom to be can have pictures of everyone that was at the shower. They can even write a little note at the bottom of the picture for the baby.
